Vitafoods Europe international trade show took place last week in Geneva. In this edition, more than 22,000 visitors from almost 120 countries attended the fair to see the latest developments in the nutraceutical field as well as meet industry peers.
Together with Supply Side West in the United States, Vitafoods Europe is the largest event dedicated to the nutraceutical industry. Monteloeder, once again, had a stand there and, on this occasion, the number of non-existent customers that visited us exceeded the previous editions. In total, more than 70 new companies approached the stand to learn more about the company’s proposal.
This year we brought two new concepts to the event, one was ZeroPollution, an oral ingredient to protect and repair the skin from the harmful effect of pollution, and the other was TopEndurance, a product for the sports category. Both concepts, which are backed by a solid science behind, were quite well accepted by the multiple visitors. Another of the great attractions was the digitalization service, that is, the possibility offered by Monteloeder to develop Mobile Apps linked to the branded ingredients that serve to demonstrate how the product works during the time it is being consumed.
From here we want to thank all the companies who visited us and exchanged their ideas with us.
Next year, the show will take place from May 12th to 14th and Monteloeder will exhibit again.

Monteloeder Vitafoods Party: Cocktails with our branded ingredients
For the first year since 1996, and coinciding with Vitafoods Europe 2019 in Geneva, Monteloeder organized this year a Dinner & Cocktail party this year in Geneva.
With our focus on innovation, we decided to propose a crazy match between our Branded ingredients and the food… A traditional Mexican restaurant in Geneva, with a Swiss chef, an Armenian bartender and a French barman based in Norway, was the particular blend to propose this party.
Together the collaboration of two worlds recognized chefs and an innovative bartender, Gegam Kazarian, from the bar Meraki, Alicante, Max Verrier and Fabien Pélarin, from the Restaurant AY Bistro, Geneva, we developed a complete proposal, including drinks and food-related with our branded ingredients.
The lemon verbena, from Move!PLX, was present in the first dish, a bream ceviche, together with a Jerez based drink. Zeropollution was performed in a Mezcal tequila and a pico de gallo with rosemary. For the NutroxSun, the sunshine of the fish cooked in the banana leaves, with grapefruit, in suze based cocktail. For the sweet, Hibiscus of Metabolaid in a healthy fruit salad, with a light Cava drink, with the beautiful red color of this flower.
In total, 46 persons, from 15 different origins, from Spain, to Brazil, from New Zealand to France, from Japan to Portugal, passing by Italy, Israel or Germany, among many other, assisted and, following their words, enjoyed a lot this very different approach on food, as we are offering our partners with our products and services.

One more year, we have been present at one of the most important fairs in the nutraceutical industry in Europe. I want to thank all the clients who have come to visit us, the new contacts and old collaborators. This type of event serves as a way to have a more up-close approach with our clients, especially with those that we have only had email interactions with.
This year, we want to especially thank all the people who attended the party organized by Monteloeder in which we could enjoy dishes and cocktails whose base were the ingredients used in our branded ingredients. A surprising and innovative gastronomic experience.
